We had another great day at TQA with our second Bring and Brag session! I've tried to collage the photos in Photoshop so that they are easier to look at......

Your project could be featured on this space next month! July Bring and Brag will be held on Friday, July 9 at 10:30am and Saturday, July 10 at 1pm. We'd love to see what you're working on - even if it's not finished!

Bring and Brag - June 18

Today was the first time we have held Bring and Brag! We had 6 ladies attend and Bettepat outdid herself! We've created this event to be held each month in order to celebrate your project victories as well as develop a community of quilters and crafters who can bounce ideas off one another. Each Bring and Brag will have a small demonstration of a new pattern or tool, show and tell, door prizes (hint: the more show and tells you bring, the more door prize tickets you get!), and then BP will issue a challenge for the next month's meeting. It was a lot of fun - and we will repeat it again tomorrow (Saturday, June 19) at 1pm!

Bettepat outdid herself on the treats: homemade cookies and hand-squeezed lemonade.

She showed off the door prize: a "countdown chain" made of fabric links.

Then we had lots of show and tells!

Isn't this the cutest idea? It was a challenge quilt using "All American Girl" fabrics - the quilt had a face hole cut out of it so that everyone could be an All American Girl!

Last, Bettepat demonstrated how to make a fabric key fob.

If you can't make tomorrows B and B, the July dates are Friday, July 9 at 10:30am or Saturday, July 10 at 1pm. We'd love to see you!
