Do you know what a Schnibble is?  According to the Dictionary of American Regional English, it’s a small bite or a nibble.  Carrie began designing small quilt patterns using 5” charm squares and called them Schnibbles.  This book is a compilation of 12 of those small quilt patterns, but she has also upsized each project into a larger quilt using Layer Cakes, or 10” squares.  These patterns are great for using up that stash of pre-cuts you may be hoarding, or use them to cut up and reduce your stash!

This out-of-print book by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins features 100 irresistible appliqué blocks in Piece O’ Cake’s famous style.  We used 12 of these blocks for embroidery in our recent Meadow Circles block of the month.  We happen to have a few left over, and want to share them with you.  Whether you appliqué or embroider, you’ll want to have this great reference book in your quilting library.  The book even includes information on re-scaling the blocks from 5” up to 20”.
